It looks as though the Walmart curse is striking again, as customers report that their PS5 consoles are yet to ship from the July 2021 restock.
It’s been over 8 months since the release of the PS5 in November 2020. And despite this fact, it’s almost impossible to get your hands on a next-gen console even today.
What’s amazing is that the PS5 is currently the fastest-selling console of all time, despite stock issues. And, according to new claims by Sony, over 10 million PS5 units have been sold to date.
But even when you finally manage to order your PS5 console, the retailer you buy it from is important. After all, Walmart is known for its lengthy delivery times when it comes to the device – leading many fans to believe that the store sells PS5s it doesn’t have.
We saw major Walmart PS5 shipping delays back in March 2021. Now, it looks like the issue is showing its head once again.

Walmart PS5 Shipping Delay – July 2021
If you ordered your PS5 from Walmart in July 2021 and you’re still waiting for it to ship, you’re not the only one.
Walmart’s most recent PS5 restock was on July 22, and fans eagerly snapped up the devices in minutes. However, despite placing their orders over a week ago, many users appear to still be waiting for their PS5 to ship.
We’re not surprised to see this issue once again, as Walmart has been notoriously bad at shipping PS5 orders for months. But when you’re waiting on that next-gen console to finally arrive, each day it doesn’t ship must feel like torture.

When Will My Walmart PS5 Ship?
Hopefully, Walmart will be sending out the July PS5 orders very soon. According to a user on Reddit, the company’s shipping for PS5s is very quick once the order is despatched.
What’s more, user Potential_Progress45 reports that Walmart usually ships on Saturdays or Sundays. Orders tend to change on the Walmart website at around 8-9 PM EST, the user reports.
With that in mind, perhaps Walmart’s July PS5 orders will finally arrive this very weekend. On the other hand, if they don’t, we could be waiting another whole week to see them leave the warehouses.
