How to watch Pokémon Presents, a new livestream featuring Pokémon news - Polygon

The Pokémon Company will drop some fresh Pokémon news on Friday, Feb. 26 during a Pokémon Presents livestream. The show kicks off at 10 a.m. EST/7 a.m. PST, and you can watch it live via YouTube right here, or on Twitch. Today’s Pokémon Presents is expected to run approximately 20 minutes.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise, which began in 1996 with Pokémon Red and Blue. The Pokémon Company hasn’t said exactly what it’ll announce during the Pokémon Presents video, but expect plenty of reminders of Pokémon’s big birthday — and probably a few game announcements.

Many fans are hoping for a remake of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. Those two games were originally released in 2006 in Japan, but had a wider release in 2007. It’s the 15th anniversary of the games this year, so a remake would be quite timely. But The Pokémon Company already has plenty on its announced slate, including Pokémon Unite, Pokémon Sleep, and ongoing updates for Pokémon Go.

This Saturday is “Pokémon Day,” which includes a virtual concert featuring musician Post Malone.
