Get your online shopping carts ready: Amazon’s long-awaited Prime Day begins next week, and the early deals are already here.
The mega online shopping event has become a staple of the industry. For two days, Amazon slashes prices on its most-popular products and devices, while offering “flash sales” throughout the day.
Prime Day 2021 is set to kick off at midnight on Monday, June 21, and will run through Tuesday. It’s exclusive to Prime members, though, meaning if you’re not a member, you will not get discounts.
You can sign up for a 30-day free trial here. After the 30-day free trial ends, a membership costs $12.99 per month or $119 per year. You can cancel at any time, including before the free trial ends.
The online retail giant is also giving away a $10 Prime Day credit to Amazon Prime members who purchase $10 worth of products from small businesses through June 20. After the purchase is made, you’ll receive an email to claim the $10 credit.

- Three months of Amazon Music Unlimited for free
- Three months of Amazon Kids+ for 99 cents (family plan)
Lightning deals
Amazon is also known for its “lightning deals” throughout the day, in which discounts are offered on a limited amount of inventory for a limited time. Once a deal maxes out on the number of times it’s claimed, the promotion ends. You can see all the lightning deals by going here.
